MetroDolls: 2024 AUCTION

Thank you to all of the talented artists and donors who have donated to our 2024 charity auction! This year, 100% of the auction proceeds will be split between Toys for Tots and UFDC Junior Collectors.

This auction will be held live on Sunday November 10th during our "Walk on the Wild Side" MetroDolls event in Red Bank, NJ. Please see our Registration page to attend!

Antique ivory lace empire over-gown of 125 year old handstitched lace applied to delicate gossamer silk; glass seed beads & silk ribbon at bodice, sleeves and hem. Undergown of crepe back satin.

Vintage fabric flowers, gossamer silk & ribbon hair ornament.

Fragment of antique gossamer silk used as wrap (due to its delicate nature, edges are frayed)

Fuchsia underdress with pleated bottom is covered with dark lace and accented with a geometric cumberbund. A claret colored opera coat with fuchsia lining and ruffles completes the outfit. Includes shoes. Gene is very yellowed, but this outfit should fit most 16" dolls.

This outfit was reproduced in black/silver as "Parisian Nights" for the MetroDolls MetroCouture even in 2007.
